Deliberation

After much deliberation we plained out what each scene of out opening will be.

The opening shot is a extreme close up of a mans (Geoffrey) glasses and on the reflection is the news playing from the television.  Diegetic sound of the news will be talking about how there was a murder and they are looking for a man and describing what people believe he looked like. As that is playing the extreme close up will zoom out revealing that the man sitting in the chair wearing the glasses is Geoffrey. While the camera is zooming out it there will be cut aways to the crime scene at different parts of the opening to show what Geoffrey did.  The murder scene is in the woods and there is a dead body under a tarp with blood everywhere.  There will be police tape along the outside of the crime scene to create more of a sense of realism to the situation.  At the end, when it is revealed that the man is Geoffrey, he turns off the television and smiles at the camera then the room goes pitch black and the title of the move (Geoffrey) comes up. 

Since we are running out of time we plan on filming during the week and editing in the middle of shooting both scene.  I am confident on my editing skills and that I will get it done in time and make something I would be proud of.
